Monday. Today I'm in recovery mode after one of the best weekends I've had in a long time.  Joint bachelorette celebrations all weekend long finishing off yesterday with wedding number four.  A lot of gasping for air laughs, champagne toasts & great company.  It's 6pm and I am happy to say I am off to bed to read, relax & catch some well needed ZZZzzz

HAPPY 2nd BIRTHDAY ANNAWITHLOVE!

 Two years ago today I started annawithlove.

I had no idea then it would become such an important part of my life.  Looking back at some of my first posts (some of which are totally cringe worthy) I can't help but feel good knowing and seeing how far this blog has come.  I've met some amazing people the last two years and got to be a part of some cool events & collaborations....but the thing that keeps me going (aside from a love of photography & being creative daily) is interacting and chatting with all of YOU! You are all seriously awesome, I can't thank you enough for your sweet comments & words of encouragement on a daily basis.

I love me a good collage, a collection of photographs from the past two years

 One more very special person I'd like to thank...Kosta, my handsome and all around amazing boyfriend...not everyone gets this whole "blogging" business, thank God regardless whether he always does or doesn't he is always supportive, understanding and willing to help any way he can. When I'm cranky because I was up till 1am trying to get that blog post done, or when we need to cancel/delay plans last minute because I need to put that final touch to make a post just right........or right now when he is ringing the door bell and I'm writing this not stopping because I'm in the flow of the sentence...[pause: run and get the door] I love you, I love you, I love you Ko.  You are so wonderful and I'm so lucky to be your gal...how's that for mushy-gushy ;)

Paris vs. New York

Oh man. Let me tell you how excited I was to buy these Paris vs. New York postcards.

I've been a huge fan of Vahram Muratyan's illustrations for a long time, when I saw the book available I almost bought it...but for some reason the first thing I thought of is "I want to rip out the pages and hang them around my room".  So I passed. Then I saw the postcards were available at Anthropologie, I almost hugged the sales man when he said they were in stock and handed me the box...too much? not enough?

Above are some of my favorites, I love that you can do anything with them.  Hang them on the fridge, stick them on your bulletin board, mail a note to a friend or use one as a bookmark. Love em'

Note to self / no.3

This note to self is for everyone.  We all have too much to do and not enough time to get it done.  So we go-go-go without any down time, we don't take care of ourselves, "me" time get's put on the back burner until it's non-existent and we are left sassy, tired and burnt out...should have made time to just chill OUT..."Shoulda Woulda Coulda"

This weekend: Remember to RELAX

Talking now to my fellow bloggers...majority of us has full time jobs right? Right.  Juggling work, the blog, side jobs all while trying to have and maintain a life can get pretty challenging...but, we are no good to anyone if we're drained and exhausted...especially ourselves!

It's a well known fact that we come up with our best creative ideas when we're well-rested, energized and feeling great. I know it's hard to find time especially when we have a to-do list the size of an encyclopedia but we all got to try and have some weekly down time.

This weekend let's all try and relax..at least on Sunday (halleluiah, halleluiah)...deal? 

Kick up your feet, pour yourself a glass or two of wine, read that book you bought a month ago and haven't started, catch up on the stack of magazines, watch your favorite movie or stare at a wall and do nothing. Even if just for one hour...blissful relaxation...aaah sounds good doesn't it?

[PHOTOSHOOT] Emily

Big THANK YOU to Ania Wazny who was our incredible hair/make up gal for the day!

And finally, here are the rest of the photographs from the creative shoot I did with the talented Emily.  I couldn't narrow it down further than this, there were too many good ones I wanted to share with you all. When Emily approached me about taking some new head shots I knew she had that fun creative personality and wouldn't shy away from doing something bold.  We came up with the idea of doing some fun "vampy" photos to finish off the shoot.  I had so much fun taking these photographs, Emily rocked it out like a natural & Ania nailed the makeup/hair dead on.  You girls are the best!
