"Forever young"

My yiayia (grandmother) is pretty funny lady...okay she is absolutely hilarious.  When I thought about taking her portrait, I knew right away it wouldn't be serious.  Even if I had wanted to take a "serious" portrait I would have maybe gotten one frame before she went goofy on me.  Definitely got the silly gene from her!  I have so many funny outtakes that I will share, this shot above just cracks me up, and it's so different from my grandfathers.  I gifted them their portraits and seeing both next to each other makes me (and everyone else) smile.

My grandmother, is the most beautiful person I know.  I challenge anyone to find one bad thing to say about  her, you just couldn't!  Her kindness and selflessness always makes me want to be a better person....and her cooking, well I'm trying to become even half as good and she is!  

My yiayia has been such a wonderful role model throughout my entire life.  I love that she can have such a wicked sense of humour and still be so classy.  What can I say, my grandmother is timeless, she never goes out of style!  She is the glue that holds our entire family together.  We are all lucky to have her in our lives.  Oh! and one more thing, she has an incredible singing voice.  Listening to her sing as she prepares meals in the kitchen is a memory I will cherish for a lifetime.
