Note to self / no.8

Note to self: Count your blessings, daily

Have been sitting on the above photograph since August, trying to find a perfect time to post it.  Today seemed like a good day.  Snow storm and all, I hope this photo warms you up inside a little bit.

Today's NTS is simple, count your blessings, daily.  We all (myself included) sometimes get caught up with the daily hustle and bustle that we miss what's really important in life.  I strongly believe that when we are living in a state of gratitude and thankfulness, counting every little special thing that happens to us...that is when wonderful things start to happen around you.  I'll be counting all my blessings big and especially small this weekend, I hope you all will too :)

Lots of love,
Anna

Framkework Magazine // feature

Wednesday, February 6, 2013

It's been an exciting week!  A 10 page spread of the feature I photographed starring one talented couple Stephanie & Neal in Framework Magazine's February issue!

Head on over to Framework Magazine to see the entire spread (page 90) and read the awesome interview by Stephanie & Neal!

I was so surprised to see my photograph not only in the magazine but on the cover as well...woohoo!

 {along side some really talented photographers Vasia, Anna & Kasia}

HUGE thank you to Stephanie & Neal for asking me to be apart of this amazing experience.  I had a blast photographing you both (you all may remember Stephanie from here & here) your sweet and honest love for each other is simply beautiful.  Loved reading the interview! XOXO

Bria, I feel so blessed to be a contributor this month! You are phenomenal at what you do and seeing my photographs in Framework this month was such a wonderful feeling.  THANK YOU!

Lots of love,
Anna

Le Macaron.

Tuesday, May 1, 2012

My family recently took a trip to France and spent a few days in Paris.  My mother, knowing my obsession with Laduree graciously bought a big box of macarons and carefully brought them back to Toronto for me.  Ahh, the things a mother does for her children right?
Love you Mama T!

{I walked into the kitchen just as one was going to be eaten and yelled calming but urgently suggested I photograph them first....it's a thing most family members of shutterbugs become accustomed to...right?!!}

Enjoy! xo

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANNAWITHLOVE!

Wednesday, July 27, 2011

Some gifts from my friends, my favorite flowers and how cute are the "BLOG" mugs?!

Here it is! The day I have been counting down to for the past few weeks. I cannot believe I have already been blogging for an entire year. I still remember writing my first post, I was nervous and scared but in a good way. That excitement of embarking on a new challenge not knowing where it will lead you was everything I needed at the time.

Then about 4 months ago something I didn't see coming happened...a job offer. Through showcasing all my work on the blog/flickr/facebook I was offered a photography job with Dine.TO. It took me by surprise and happened very quickly. Always being the type of person who "had a plan" this threw me through a loop. I didn't have a lot of time to think about it and had to make my decision fast. So I took a chance and changed careers to something I was truly passionate about. It has been a wonderful journey and I am excited to see where this next year of blogging will take me.

To you my incredible readers, you are all amazing. I don't know how to thank you enough for all the support and kindness you have shown me throughout this year. I read each and every comment and get so happy every time.

Annawithlove, it's been one year of amazing times, even those late nights and early mornings to get the finishing touches on posts. Loved and loving every second of it.

Enjoy xo

Above are a few photos of myself from the blog party this past weekend! LOTS more to come later this week!

Two years ago today...

Happy Bastille Day!

Two years ago today I arrived in Paris for the first time. What a night to remember as our concierge directed us to drop out suitcases in our room and head straight for the Eiffel Tower for the fireworks show to celebrate Bastille Day (we were completely ignorant to the fact that we arrived in France on their national day of independence). I snapped THIS photo from that night. It was magical. It was perfect. I will never forget it.

I had been saving this set of photos which are some of my favorites for a "special day". Last weekend I went through all my albums of Paris and the nostalgia I felt was overwhelming (I think I'm vulnerable due to the final HP film this week...everything is making me feel nostalgic). So what better day than today to share with you all some photos of the lovely Laduree in Paris.

Thanks for all your sweet comments on the last few posts, they mean so much to me :)

Enjoy! xo
