The drive home.

 A few weeks ago I left work the usual time and walked to my car the usual way.  It had been a really busy few weeks.  I was feeling drained, uninspired and all around to pick a word...'blah'.  As I walked to my car feeling deflated I noticed the trees were beginning to bloom and then I simply looked up.  It took me by surprise just how breathtaking the sky and trees looked.  Right there in the middle of the city huge trees cascading over each other.  I had my camera with me so I took some photos to remind myself...life gets busy, the weeks fly by in what feels like a second, it's important we remember to stop and simply "look up" from time to time so we don't miss the good stuff.

Departure Time...

Happy Hump Day!

I found these train photos last week and then drifted off into a day dream thinking about my Europe trip. I love the train and loved taking it from city to city country to country, watching all the different types for people from around the world get on and off at their stop each on their own little adventure. Plus, how can you not love that the windows look like vintage photo frames? Le Love.

Happy Tuesday Everyone!

Thank you for all the sweet messages on yesterdays post. I had some left over photos from Fall last year, thought I'd post them to brighten up the day a little bit. I was so happy to leave work yesterday and actually SEE the sun.

Remember Remember

Happy Thursday,

It feels like forever since I felt the warmth of the sun,seen animals or the fresh colours of nature and flowers...yes, I am officially over winter! Every March the same thing, the final stretch and everyday seems more and more painful until that one day of good weather.

Close up and personal.

For my photography course, we went on a cute field trip to Edwards Gardens...I had such a great time with my fellow classmates and exploring the garden for interesting shots!  I'm sad it's almost coming to an end but I've learned a lot and so excited to buy my own SLR as soon as I can!
