Happy Thanksgiving to all my Canadians!

6am. Eiffel Tower. Madly in Love.

{We were lucky & blessed enough to take our engagement photographs in my beloved Paris, was a dream come true and no one could have delivered a better experience and gorgeous set of photographs than Sachin...but lots more on this later ;D}

In two weeks time I will officially become a Mrs. and be married to the love of my life!

I've made the decision to walk away from the blog for the next few weeks.  Recently I talked about the importance of unplugging from time to time.  Sometimes it's good to walk away and go actually live life & be completely present, no distractions, no deadlines.  I can't think of a better time to really unplug than right now.  I'm off to enjoy the next two weeks of pre-wedding excitement.  Enjoying time with family & close friends and soaking it all in.

Home Sweet Home & Back to Reality

Four 32GB and eight 16GB filled memory cards later.....and I am back from Paris & Greece!  My head is still in the clouds. I feel more rested and rejuvenated than I have in a long time.  Creativity and inspiration seems to be flowing everywhere.  I cannot wait to share the rest of my travels and photographs with you.  Even more excited about all the new fine art photographs that are to come in the shop! Ready for fall & time to hit the ground running!

Happiness.

Back to normal (somewhat) I'm finally getting over the holiday madness, I really hate how Christmas comes and goes so quickly after months of preparation. Today is a very special day as it's my goddaughters 1st birthday! Very excited to celebrate later, she is the prettiest little thing!

Life changes when we change.

If it's even possible I was feeling in a bit of a square-mood yesterday evening as I prepared this post...felt like switching it up and trying something bit different. The weekend went by super fast as always, and I surprisingly didn't feel a huge amount of resentment towards this Monday morning. With my Starbucks in hand I am ready to start the day!
