Hey Thursday!

Hope you all doing well, it's been a while since I posted photos from London! We were lucky to have sun, it only rained the last afternoon we were there. I'd love to go back and explore the city more. However, I have a problem...whenever I'm speaking to someone with an English accent I begin talking with one also...it makes for a lot of hilarious awkward moments. Is it so bad to wish I spoke with a fancy British accent?! I just love it.

Parisian Breakfast

Hello Monday. Hello Family Day!

I hope you all had wonderful weekends! The photos above are from our second day in Paris, a very intimidating waiter came up to us and asked us in French what we wanted...I guess we both panicked (in a good way) because we continued to order our entire breakfast in french...as he walked away we looked at each other surprised and impressed...who knew we had it in us?! This breakfast was basically carbs with a side a carbs...it was delicious and very satisfying. I can't express how FRESH everything is in Paris, you will never be served a stale croissant...ever.

In other news, I wanted to acknowledge some fabulous ladies who awarded annawithlove with the Sylish blogger award and the Cherry top award a few months ago! I am a bit delayed (very sorry ladies) but these awards mean so much to me and was thrilled when I received them! Be sure to check our their blogs because they are awesome!

Walk with me

Happy Friday everyone!

Four reasons why I am in an especially great mood today:

1. Remembered this morning that it is the long weekend...awesome!
2. Got my fresh sprinkle Hawaiian donut (a Friday tradition...sprinkle donut Friday!) it tasted like victory.
3. Signs of spring everywhere...it's 9 degrees out..hello spring jacket.
4. Booked a NYC weekend last night

And...happy dance time.

Above are some random photos from Paris...the second photo I adore...ah, to be in love and in Paris. These photos also make me want to go find the most Parisian cafe in Toronto and waste away the day sitting, drinking latte's and people watching.

Louvre at night: Part 1

The Louvre at night...have you ever seen anything more magnificent? This is by far my favorite place to sit at night in Paris.

Back in September I wasted away two hours just gazing into all the lights, taking in the atmosphere silently alone with nothing but my thoughts. It was perfect. I couldn't wait to get back, so I went straight there my first night in Paris. It's quiet, a bit eerie, calming and just stunning to look at...I guess you get the picture, I absolutely love it.
